What can the police do for me?

If there is an international child abduction or a threat of international child abduction, the Dutch police can do different things for you. For example, to report the withdrawal of parental custody or by submitting a report to the police if there has been talk of a threatening situation. You can make sure that the police note this in the daily log, this is called an entry. More information about this and what the consequences are, can be found on: Police.
