To support children and parents the Mediation Bureau offers a Cross border Family Support. Cross border Family Support is a service which focuses inter alia on:

• providing aftercare for the child who has dealt with an international child abduction (e.g. trauma treatment)
• supervising the restoration of contact between the foreign parent and child, which in a longer term can possibly result in an international access arrangement
• Guidance of a meeting between foreign parent and child

Requests for Cross border Family Support are coordinated by the Mediation Bureau, where parents and children are referred to specialist care for an adequate and appropriate guidance/treatment.
