During the mediation procedure the child can be heard. The child’s thoughts, feelings and ideas will be taken into consideration, especially where the decisions made, and the way in which those decisions are implemented in the mediation, are concerned. When both parents agree with implementing the voice of the child, the child will be heard.
The conversation with the child will be separately ascertained by an, independent, expert. A report of the conversation with the child will be written by this expert. The report will be discussed with the parents during the mediation.
