My child has been abducted, who can I turn to for help?

If your child has been abducted, the Centre can offer information and advice about international child abduction. We can provide guidance and, if necessary, refer you to a lawyer or other organisation or institution.

Besides this you can contact the police. Whether or not you make a formal report or just let the police know that the child is missing depends on the situation itself. You can also contact the Dutch Central Authority. You can submit a request for return to them.

Contact the Centre to discuss your situation and to see which steps you can take.
