Central Authority Forms

You want to submit a request to the Central Authority to have your child returned. To do so, you must fill in the form below. You will also find an explanation of the Central Authority form here. The checklist allows you to make sure that you have attached all the necessary forms.

You can also send the form directly to the Central Authority of the country to which your child has been abducted or in which they are being held. You must complete the form in English.

Forms for creating a file

When you are afraid that your child will be abducted it is important that you have information about your child, the future abductor and yourself.
Complete a description form and have a recent photograph of every child, of the person who is likely to be a future abductor and of yourself. Split all the forms into 4 sets so that in case of an abduction you can give the files to the police, the Central Authority, the sollicitor and yourself.
